What is Wambam.net ?
Wambam.net is a general chit-chat community where thoughts come to be seen. It is where participating members can manifest their emotions, feelings, problems, questions, or triumphs as visible, digitally tangible entities, which take on their own life as other members add to them, alter them, and cultivate them into powerful monuments to the collaborative human mind.

Why Wambam.net ?
Well the the fundamental difference between this place and other websites of the same nature is that I genuinely want this place to be an enjoyable place to visit. I wanted to take the website in a new direction when compared to other online communities so what I did was to review what I had as my own website's guidelines I found that they were too restrictive and made the place feel formal and I didn't want this. So what I did is to step back and rework the guidelines so that theres no rules just guidelines so now the website almost completely unmoderated. You won't get the staff breathing down your neck telling you what can and can't do. The main thing I found with other websites is that they are run like dictatorships. I won't give any examples as I'm sure many have been banned from a website at some point during their time online and read through numerous rules that dictate how you must conduct yourself and restrict your opinions. Even the registration is completely optional guests may view and join in on conversations without restriction either because they want to remain anonymous which i understand since some topics could be sensitive in nature or simply to sample the website without obligation.

The Goals of Wambam.net ?
I'd like the forums to be filled with interesting debates so that this site becomes the premier forums for highly interesting conversation topics that will eventually attract people that with similar thirst for intelligent and topical conversation in any subject that you may care to mention.
